While comparisons to Facebook and Twitter are often made, the way professionals utilize LinkedIn to conduct and create business is far different.  LinkedIn recently reached (and passed) the 100 million user mark, making its population larger than most countries. Not to mention the $200M IPO expectations for this year and that the money raised back in 2008 still hasn't been touched.
