As plenty of you know, I have 3 kids at LSU, and my oldest daughter lives in Baton Rouge too.

Today, while my youngest Rachel and oldest Lauren were shopping at Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge, they decided to pop into LaMadeliene (a super nice coffee and pastry and dining place in Baton Rouge).  As they were walking up to the door, Tom Cruise opened the door for them.

As he was holding the door open for Katie, Suri jumped into his arms, he let them in, and he proceeded to walk with two bodyguards, both really big guys, and get into a black waiting SUV.

The workers at LaMadeliene said that they were there for 10 minutes, and got some pastries while there.

My girls were excited to see him, and it's way cool to hear what a gentlemen he was.

Thanks Tom Cruise, Katie and Suri - we hope you enjoy Baton Rouge and Louisiana!  My wife is also a big fan of his too.
