The New OneDrive App for Microsoft Teams

Streamline Workflow

Microsoft has announced the launch of the new OneDrive app for Microsoft Teams, which is designed to provide a more seamless and integrated file management experience. The new app replaces the generic Files app in Teams and brings all the recent updates and enhancements made to the OneDrive web experience directly to Teams.

The new OneDrive app provides a consistent and familiar file management experience across both Teams and OneDrive web. This allows easy access to all Microsoft 365 content, including files, Loops, dashboards, and design boards. It also includes new organization tools and views such as a new timeline view, a gallery view, and a filterable list view to help find and access content more easily.

How to Get Started with the OneDrive App for Teams

The OneDrive app is now available to all Microsoft Teams users. To start using the app, simply flip the toggle in the upper-left corner of the classic Teams app to new Teams. Once you have done this, you will see the OneDrive app appear in the left-hand navigation.

The OneDrive app provides a more seamless and integrated file management experience that can help improve productivity, enhance collaboration, and reduce complexity.
